Recent Happenings at One:Eight

December 4, 2009

Well, it has been a busy fall and early winter for us here at One:Eight productions.  We premiered our first documentary, The Beloved: A Story of the Hmong people, Oct. 16th at a beautiful banquet hosted by Leadership Worth Following, llc, honoring the main character of the story, Father Nghia Cao, for his work in Vietnam.  We finally finished production of our first round of DVDs, which are now ready for purchase in our online store!

As for the future here at One:Eight, Dustin Miller of our team is currently planning on returning to Sapa in late January to continue filming the conditions of the Hmong for an extended edition that could be released as early as summer 2010 but nothing definite at this point.  We don’t, currently, have any stories lined up so if you know of any we are ready for hire! Shoot us an email at oneeightproductions@gmail.com and we are ready to work with you.  Thanks for keeping up with our company and check back for updates soon.
