The Beloved: A Story of the Hmong People

$ 18 USD

Far up in the mountains of North Vietnam sits Sapa, a growing tourist destination and town of about 40,000.  The city is filled with beautiful sights and sounds but life for the Hmong in the surrounding villages is much different. The Hmong are often short on food and medical supplies and are often oppressed by those in power.  This 25 minute documentary follows one man's quest to help lead these people out of poverty and empower the Hmong to new heights. Watch and follow how one Vietnamese-American priest, Father Nghia Cao, is working to end years of oppression and open doors to the Hmong that have never been there before.
